LONGCHAMP LAUNCHES THE LE PLIAGE GREEN COLLECTION

Who: Longchamp

What: Launch of Pliage Green, a new recycled nylon bag

Why: As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainable development, the French brand Longchamp has launched its new Le Pliage Green, its iconic bag now made from recycled nylon. The brand aims to increase the use of this responsible material in its flagship Le Pliage line, to fully use it in its production by 2022. The Le Pliage Green line will be available in four colors inspired by nature: Forest , Ocean, Earth and a limited edition. – Snow edition. In Singapore, the brand is celebrating the launch with an in-store pop-up at Ion Orchard, which runs from July 20 to August 10, 2021.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN UNVEILS A COLLECTION OF GRAFFITIS

Who: Alexander McQueen

What: Launch of the McQueen Graffiti collection

Why: True to the iconoclastic spirit of its founder, the British brand launched this month a capsule collection called McQueen Graffiti. The range includes ready-to-wear, handbags, sunglasses and costume jewelry, each featuring the house logo reimagined in a punk-inspired scribble. The new launch is accompanied by an outdoor campaign in some of the largest cities in the world, including London, Paris, Milan, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Dubai; Closer to home, cities like Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong will also benefit from the McQueen Graffiti treatment on what the brand mysteriously calls “unconventional places” for the time being. COACH COLLABORATES WITH BAPE FOR A NEW COLLECTION

What: BAPE x Coach Collection

Why: All-American brand Coach is teaming up with Japanese streetwear pioneers BAPE for a cooler-than-you streetwear collection that celebrates the spirit of New York and Tokyo. The collection includes ready-to-wear, leather goods, footwear and accessories, and will feature a specially redesigned logo that combines Coach’s Signature logo with BAPE’s instantly recognizable Ape Head motif. The accompanying campaign also features a diverse cast of fashion’s coolest stars, including Megan Thee Stallion, Cordae and Kōki.

BURBERRY UNVEILS NEW COLLECTION OF TB SUMMER MONOGRAMS

Who: Burberry

What: Launch of the new TB Summer Monogram collection

Why: “For my third TB Summer Monogram collection, I wanted to celebrate the balance of our heritage with the importance of always evolving and looking to the future,” said Riccardo Tisci, Creative Director of Burberry. “The collection captures that upbeat feeling of summer and that sense of constant momentum, excitement for the future.” To that end, Tisci refreshed the TB logo in new summer-inspired colourways, including cobalt blue, deep royal blue and medium gray, for the sunny essentials summer capsule, as seen on the star. from the campaign, Naomi Campbell.

What: The Oakley X Jeff Staple ROYGBIV Spectrum Collection

Why: For his latest collaboration with streetwear legend Jeff Staple, Oakley’s iconic Frogskins sunglasses received the rainbow treatment, with colors taken from the ROYGBIV Spectrum. ADIDAS AND PRADA JOIN AGAIN

What: The new A + P Luna Rossa 21 sneakers

Why: Following the immense popularity of its first collaboration, Adidas and Prada have come together again to offer us sneakers that are as trendy as they are functional. Inspired by the sneaker worn by the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team during the Prada Cup, the A + P Luna Rossa 21 sneakers will be available in a black and gray colourway and will be accompanied by a shoe bag co-branded with Adidas’ trefoil logo and Prada’s iconic Linea Rossa logo.

KATE SPADE NEW YORK LAUNCHES “I LOVE NY” CAPSULE COLLECTION

Who: Kate Spade New York

What: “I Love NY” capsule collection

Why: Paying homage to the city where the brand was founded, Kate Spade New York presents its new capsule collection “I Love NY”, featuring the iconic “I Love NY”, designed by the late graphic designer Milton Glaser. The capsule collection will feature the logo on the new Manhattan tote bag, a 3D molded red leather apple bag, shoulder strap, zip pouch, protective phone and Airpod cases, and shoes.
