It girl around town Dominique Wisniewski, engaged to real estate mogul Mark Francis, has combined wedding planning with her new luxury baby business Lullaby.
Wisniewski saw a market niche for premium/high-end products in the resale of second-hand designer baby items in mint condition. The company offers an extensive collection of the best labels for nursery and baby outing. Included are high-end fashion brands such as Dior, Gucci, Hermes and Fendi.
Wisniewski’s business, which started on Instagram, caters to parents with an excess of baby items and clothes, and parents looking to buy high-end products they might not have been able to. afford otherwise.
She says it creates the perfect recycling circle for beautiful products and solves the problem of what to do with items that quickly sell out and are only needed for a short time.
With a growing number of new moms in affluent circles across Wisniewski’s social set, the stock and quality have been top notch.
Now Wisniewski has focused on quality used designer baby items on her website, lullaby.com.
Earlier this year, Wisniewski and Francis’ wedding made Spy’s list of the three richest weddings to watch, after a lavish poolside engagement party at their elegant Herne Bay waterfront home last March. Lips are of course sealed as to when and where the jaw-dropping day will unfold, but the pair recently dropped a few clues on Instagram.
A few weeks ago, they took a trip to Aspen, where Spy understands they plan to have a ceremony late this year or early next year. Last weekend, Wisniewski hosted a fabulous luncheon at her Herne Bay home for her bridal team, complete with imported designer bridesmaid gift sets for her seven lucky guests.
One of the bridesmaids is Wisniewski’s good friend, former The Crowd Goes Wild reporter Makere Gibbons, wife of luxury property developer Kurt. The couple have three young children, whose creative duds no doubt found their way to Lullaby.
The groom-to-be didn’t hang around playing waiter for the ladies – he, Gibbons and fellow property mogul and Rich-List groom-to-be Justin Wyborn were on the track for the Heineken Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix , racing in VIP style in Melbourne.
