Prada Holiday 2021 Glen Luchford advertising campaign
Since Miuccia Prada welcomed Raf Simons as Prada’s co-creative director in 2020, the creative duo have been experimenting with photographers when it comes to the fashion house’s ad campaigns. The duo’s first outing for Spring 2021 went to Ferdinando Verderi, Xavier Dolan came on board for his Galleria handbag installment and David Sims dabbled in filming the fall 2021 commercials. Now Glen Luchford is back to capture the Holiday 2021 campaign featuring Julia Garner, Shira Haas, Taylor Russell and Louis Partridge. The cast roam a Los Angeles winter wonderland digitally created for the aptly titled series A winter night dream.
The result immediately sparked a debate in our forums. “I don’t mean to look backward, but Prada de Luchford 1997-1998 with Amber Valletta and that nonsense, feel the difference,” disapproved of Alien Sex Friend.
“Too zoomed out and the vaguely post-apocalyptic backdrop doesn’t really make me spend my money on luxury items … maybe to start hoarding bottled water,” YohjiAddict admitted.

“Glen Luchford’s comeback to Prada is so disappointing. He’s not the savior the brand needs, ”noted grimm.
“Total disappointment of a creative meeting. It could have been so much better, ”proclaimed zoom.
“Admittedly the post-production is solid – even if it’s a little (a lot) too Two days later to my taste. Very unhappy for the cast, the style and that stupid bucket hat, ”criticized Phuel.
“To be completely honest, I haven’t admired a Prada campaign since Pre-Fall 2020… and while it actually hurts me right now, the coloring is pretty gorgeous here and the sense of minimalism works wonders for Prada.” , confessed vogue28.
“Superb campaign, better than the previous ones,” said VogueGirl8910.
