Dior Maison and Sam Baron team up for stylish outdoor furniture

Sam Baron’s collaboration with Dior Maison is inspired by the classic codes of French design

French designer Sam Baron brings simple elegance to outdoor furniture in his collaboration with Dior Maison. The collection, made up of a chair, an armchair and round and square tables, winks at the codes of Dior design in a symbolic excess of references.

The curved shapes of the French-made chair rethink the oval silhouette of the classic medallion chair, a motif common to the French art of living and to Dior itself, recently reinterpreted by Philippe Starck during the Salone del Mobile 2022. green metal, they are on their way to becoming ubiquitous, appearing at La Pâtisserie at 30 avenue Montaigne and in Dior cafés around the world, in addition to being available in stores.

This is the latest creative partnership for Baron, who rethinks traditional symbols in his work. Intertwining historicity and contemporary design, Baron’s creative direction and design consultancy create physical and digital projects.

In the past, it has partnered with Dior, Pierre Frey Mobilier, Guirland, Jardim Botânico, Bitossi and La Redoute. This new collection builds on past collaborations with Dior, including the 2020 ‘Blé’ cruise collection, comprised of delicately designed candlesticks, vase, carafe and glass domes.
