Gucci’s high jewelry collection makes its New York debut

Gucci’s Haute Joaillerie Collection, Hortus Deliciarum and Haute Horlogerie Collection make their New York debut. The Italian luxury house brings its ‘Garden of Delights’ to watch over Central Park from the heights of the Iconic Steinway Building. To celebrate the collection’s first appearance in the United States, the brand invited a select group to a private exhibition to learn more about the collection.

Gucci top Jewelry collection is inspired by the symbolic motifs dear to Alessandro Michele and Gucci, taken from the vast and diverse canon of the Houses iconography. The exhibition highlights Michele’s sense of fantasy, his strong use of fantastical symbols and his respect for the past, which adorn the house today and reaffirm its grandeur. The collection makes dramatic use of functionality, as jewelry and watch segments are set to dance as the wearer moves; in many ways, the collection is alive. It has an undeniable presence and effectively writes a love story of beauty and splendor. It’s an ode to greatness and it can’t be said for anything less than magnificent.
