Fall’s brightest accessories come to life with help from 11 image makers

Gucci bag

What do you get when you take a heritage classic like Gucci’s Bamboo 1947 bag and remix it to a heavenly level? This studded, spiked, and eyeleted little wonder with a big personality. Featuring yellow and purple dyed leathers, the bag was photographed by London-based artist Marie Valognes, who added a flathead nail as a finishing touch, as there isn’t too much hardware.

Fendi bag

Calling this Baguette an icon certainly wouldn’t be an overstatement, but this season the Italian house is giving us something new to adore: a Baguette designed for the brand’s hand-in-hand initiative, which sees Italian artisans apply their craftsmanship local to the famous bag. This Umbrian iteration – shot by Parisian photographer Angèle Châtenet – features tassel designs rendered in Orvieto crochet lace typical of the region.

Dolce & Gabbana earrings

If it looks like these earrings are floating in the ether in this dreamy photo taken by New York photographer Brea Souders, it might be because they are fine jewelry meant to be transported. . Crafted from amethysts, aquamarines, peridots and morganites, these pieces feature a delicate yellow gold filigree evoking baroque moldings. Destination: the paradise of jewels.

Dior Shoes

These kicky pumps, designed by the artistic director of Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri, are deceptively sporty. Crafted with black technical fabric and wrapped in smooth rubber soles, the heel can be described as athleisure luxury, especially as it’s fused with fishnet knee-highs adorned with coral beads. To further affirm how far these shoes can go, New York designer Katie Burnett captured them in motion.

What’s better than a long walk on the beach? A pair of Chanel rubber boots perfectly suited to accompany you on your next stroll at sunset. They’re fabulous (and practical!) enough to leave
you get away with keeping the rest of your ensemble extremely minimal – or so imagined Japanese-born, New York-based photographer Fumi Nagasaka, who shot this sandy, surreal scene.
