Dior unveils its capsule collection with Kenny Scharf

Kim Jones and Kenny Scharf are back with another Dior collection after working together for the Parisian house’s fall 2021 men’s show.

The new offer is a tribute to Dior’s passion for the creative spirit of games. As such, the Ace, the King and the Queen of Hearts characterize the looks of the collection. Known for his surreal artistic style, Scharf reworked these playing card figurines, merging his aesthetic with Dior’s heritage.

The capsule features a new silk scarf print with a playing card, taking shape in captivating shades of blue. In addition, the Dior oblique pattern crosses shorts and a shirt. The new design can also be seen on a black jacket, sweatshirts and a button down shirt. The short-sleeved t-shirts feature a Dior heritage logo with a cheeky smiley face. In addition, the capsule contains a few accessories such as a silver necklace and a bob, in addition to the brand’s B23 sneakers.

The new capsule collection adds to the long line of artists with whom Dior has collaborated, including Daniel Arsham, Brian Donnelly (aka KAWS), Matthew Williams & 1017 ALYX 9SM, Raymond Pettibon, Yoon Ahn, Shawn Stussy and Hajime Sorayama.
